Match ball on the centre spot

Fenwick Park produced the performance of the season when it mattered most, beating Orange United 2–1 in a derby that will be remembered for years. A sold-out stadium watched the home side come from behind with two stunning second-half goals.

The visitors struck first against the run of play, silencing the East Stand just before the interval. But whatever was said at half-time worked: Daniel Okoro levelled within four minutes of the restart, rising highest to meet Jonathan West's pinpoint cross.

The winner came twelve minutes from time. Thomas Reilly collected the ball twenty-five yards out, shifted it onto his left foot and curled an unstoppable effort into the top corner, sending the home supporters into delirium.

"This is what this club is about," the manager said afterwards. "The players gave everything, and the crowd dragged us over the line. Nights like this are why Fenwick Park is special."

The result lifts Fenwick Park to within three points of the play-off places with eight games remaining. Next up: Bristol City at home on 02 October.
