The first team trained at the new Fenwick Park performance complex for the first time this week, marking the completion of the club's biggest infrastructure project in decades.
The site features two full-size grass pitches, a 3G all-weather surface, a gymnasium, medical and rehabilitation suites, video analysis rooms and a dedicated academy wing with classrooms for the club's scholars.
"This changes everything for us," the academy director said. "Our young players now learn in an environment that matches any club at this level. The pathway from the academy to the first team has never been clearer."
The complex was funded jointly by the club, supporter fundraising and a community sports grant. Local schools will have access to the facilities three evenings a week as part of the club's foundation programme.
An open day for supporters will be announced shortly, with guided tours, coaching clinics and a first look at the new home dressing room.
